Cold wax medium offers so many possibilities and can give an artist the freedom to bend the rules associated with traditional oil painting. Designed for artists with some experience in oils or for those wanting to try something different to acrylics, this workshop will explore some of the ways cold wax can be used. We will lay the groundwork for a painting and look at ways it can be developed using spreading, layering, texturing and excavating where underlying layers are exposed.
